Talking Across Generations on Reimagining Education

Dear Colleagues

This was just sent to me by a UNESCO Colleague. It seems like a great opportunity for young people in your community aged 18-34 to be part of a global dialogue about the future of learning.

Best wishes

Leone

The UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP) invites youth ages 18 to 34 around the world to join the Talking Across Generations (TAG) on Reimagining Education event. During online discussions throughout August 2020, young people are asked to define the problems with current education systems, share their hopes for future education systems, and reimagine education in order to build more peaceful and sustainable societies. Six youth contributors from these discussions will be selected to talk across generations with three senior policy and decision-makers at a live virtual dialogue on 28 August. Interested youth may submit answers to the discussion questions on UNESCO MGIEP’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
